Getting here by air

Guests travelling from Wellington have the option of taking a short, scenic flight with Sounds Air or catch the ferry to Picton, followed by a water taxi transfer to Torea Bay with either Cougar Line or Beachcomber Cruises.

Pelorus Air also offers a scenic floatplane service from Wellington, Nelson, Picton, Blenheim and Kapiti, with pick-up and drop-off available at the beach in front of Portage Resort.
